The Vets category was fiercly contested throughout the competition’s however Ruairdh Mackenzie came out on top and ensured that “Team Mackenzie” had something to celebrate!

What have you been up to since winning last years series?

Since last year I have been working but still making time for a few first assents out on Tanera Beag

Have you been training hard for the 2009 Series?

I haven’t really been tooling other than a few winter routes,

Iv done a few laps of the garage on tools I suppose but to be honest I don’t feel the need to train much

Yes I will try and do a few rounds this year

Sum up your experience of Winning the series last year?

Winning last year was great – it felt good for at least one of Team Mackenzie to win – Bring it on !
