Glasgow Climbing Centre

The opening event of this years Scottish Tooling Series will now be held at the Glasgow Climbing Centre.

This venue has a great history including staking the claim to the “World’s First Indoor Dry Tooling Competition” in March, 2003.

The venue for a time had a dedicated dry-tooling area also the first in the uk and well ahead of it’s time!

The change of venue from Avertical World in Dundee was due to a pressing commercial commitment which unfortunately clashed with the Competition dates.

The team at Avertical World remain very much part of the STS family and we look forward to returning to the venue in 2011.

The event on the 9th of October will be an afternoon and evening competition starting at 2pm and going through into the night with a real party.
