Do I need to register on the STS website for competitions and lectures?

To take part in the competitions you must register which makes the process of induvidual competition registration much easier however for lectures and masterclasses there is no need.

I don’t have a paypal account can I still register online?

Yes you can pay for your registration using a credit or debit card.

Do I need to pre-register to compete in the competitions?

No, you can register on the day but you save £5 by registering online. When you arrive at the venue you still need to sign-up but all your paperwork should be ready for you.

Can I register for more than one competition at a time?

Yes with the new cart system you can register for multiple competitions and multiple people under one login.

I want to register for my son or daughter how do I go about this?

You can use one login and use the multiple registration cart to book in up to four competitors at once.

I see the following errors why is this?

ERROR: This username is already registered, please choose another one.
ERROR: This email is already registered, please choose another one.

If you see both errors at once it is likely that you have already registered this user and should try the password reset here using the username / email that you have been trying.
