How to enter!


Each venue will host a one day Tooling Competition.
There will be a standard format at each venue  which will include an individual final at each one day event.
Qualification Scoring:
Scoring may vary slightly from venue to venue but generally all competitors will have 3 attempts at each route…10 points for completion on first attempt
7 points for completion on second attempt
5 points for completion on third attempt
For longer routes; specifically at the ice-factor on ice routes, only one attempt is permitted. Points will be awarded for height gained.
Completion… 10 points
Zone 2… 7 points
Zone 1… 5 points
Following the finals there will be a winner of each category at each event.
The Series points will be awarded based on placing in finals of each induvidual event:
20 pts 1st place
18 pts 2nd place
16pts  3rd place
etc
At the end of the last event (Ice Factor), the Scottish Tooling Series will be won by the person in each category, who has entered a minimum of three competitions and accumulated the most points.   If more than 3 events are entered, your best 3 scores will be taken.

Under 15yrs – £10…£15 on the day

Junior Male – 15 & Under              Senior Male – 16-39            Veteran Male – 40+
Junior Female – 15 & Under         Senior Female – 16+
